Product description:

Cinnamon is considered to be one of the oldest spices in human history with records showing its value to ancient Egyptians, Chinese and in Ayurveda. It has been linked to prosperity, progress, claimed to attract wealth and in ancient Egypt was considered to be of equal value to gold.

Cinnamon bark essential oil is obtained from the outer bark which is considered to be the most important part of the Cinnamon verum tree and is typically stronger, more potent and pricey than Cinnamon leaf oil and a little goes a very long way.

Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil's scent is warm, spicy yet sweet with a vanilla like hint and it also helps provide relief when dealing with seasonal illnesses like the flu, colds. It is also a powerful analgesic, digestive aid and is great for  skincare except if you have sensitive skin as it is considered a "hot oil" and must be diluted even more than other Essential Oils when used topically.

Blends well with:

Essential oils of Balsam Gurjun, Bergamot, Black Pepper, Cardomon, Cedarwood, Clove Bud, Elemi, Frankincense, Ginger, Geranium, Grapefruit, Lavender Kashmir, Mandarin, Marjoram, Myrrh, Nutmeg, Patchouli, Rosemary, Ylang Ylang Complete.

Note: Product colors and aroma profiles are intended to represent the typical and approximate color and scent of each oil. However, both can vary based on harvesting, distillation and other factors. These variations should not affect the efficacy of the product.

Diffusion: Add a few drops of Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil to an ultrasonic diffuser or diffuser bracelet

You can also create a blend with one or more EOs of Dill SeedClove Bud, Rosemary, Patchouli (Dark), Sweet Marjoram or Ylang Ylang Complete Essential Oils to incorporate other benefits you may require, make a stronger blend or just to layer different scent notes and create a rounder or preferred aroma.

Topical: To use topically for its healing benefits, add 1-3 drops of Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil to a tablespoon/15ml of base oil or shea butter and apply 2-3 times daily or as needed to affected area.

Add 2-3 drops to 50ml of a light easy absorbent oil for a relaxing, soothing massage. Cinnamon Bark EO is a "hot oil" and must be used sparingly when applying to the skin so a greater dilution is required.

For an even stronger blend add one or more EOs e.g., Tulsi, Ginger,  Hyssop, Winter Cherry or Peppermint without exceeding the 5 drops of EO for topical use or 10 drops per 50ml maximums for a massage oil.

Skincare: Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil is suitable for all skin types but is not recommended for sensitive skin.

Directions: Create a moisturizer with Cinnamon Bark EO diluted at a rate not exceeding 2 drops when using alone (its a hot oil and must be used sparingly) or 6 drops in total (2 drops of Cinnamon Bark and 4 drops of other EOs) when adding other EOs e.g. Sandalwood, Lavender Kashmir, Jamarosa, Coral Jasmine or Wild Carrot Seed  in a blend per 30ml of a complementary Carrier oil e.g. Barbary Fig Seed, Goji Berry, Strawberry Seed Oil, an existing serum, lotion or any other preferred base before applying on the skin.

Hair Care: Add to a shampoo, conditioner, hair oil, cream or as part of a hot oil treatment and massage into hair to condition, wrap a towel on hair and leave for 20mins, then rinse off.
