Product description:

Steam distilled from the wild growing highly aromatic medium sized, light yellow Cybopogon Khasians grass indigenous to Southern India, Jamarosa is a hybrid, crossed between Cymbopogon nardus var. confertiflorus (Citronella) and Cymbopogon jwarancusa (Jwarancusa) which gives it rockstar status as it takes on the therapeutic properties of both its parents, each a potent natural remedy in of itself so their “baby” is the perfect blend of both species.

Its lovely, rosy, grassy scent is similar to the Essential Oil from its botanical cousin Cymbopogon martinii (Palmarosa), Jamarosa is rosier, lighter and fresher so it is loved by the perfume industry where it is used as a natural fixative and to impart a slight rose and green element to the overall creation.

Jamarosa Essential Oil has all the benefits of Jwarancusa grass which is named from two Sanskrit terms “Jwar” “fever” and Ankusha “breaker” and is extensively in Ayurveda as a potent natural remedy to do what its name says amongst other things.

It also has the natural air purifying, insect repelling, skin oil balancing, anti-aging, anti-acne, stress relieving, sedative and abundance of other therapeutic benefits of Citronella Essential Oil.

Blends well with:

Essential oils of Bergamot, Cedarwood, Citrus, Clary Sage, Ginger lily, Juniper,  Lavender Kashmir, Lemon, Orange, Palmarosa, Patchouli (Dark), Rose Geranium and Ruh Khus

Note: Product colors and aroma profiles are intended to represent the typical and approximate color and scent of each oil. However, both can vary based on harvesting, distillation, and other factors. These variations should not affect the efficacy of the product.
