Product description:

One of, if not "the" most popular essential oil in the world, Lavender has been used in Europe for centuries for its medicinal, aromatherapy and skin care properties.

Unfortunately, its popularity makes it the most adulterated essential oil on the market, usually with the lower quality and cheaper hybrid Lavandin (Lavandula x intermedia) or created as an outright chemically created synthetic mimic which does not contain the true healing properties of Lavender.

Only plants from the species Lavandula angustifolia produce an essential oil that is considered to be True Lavender Essential Oil with all the many attributed benefits ascribed to this versatile essential oil.

There are several species of Lavandula angustifolia that produce highly regarded Essential oils and are usually named for where they naturally grow but have subtle differences in chemical composition, scent and effect, they are: Bulgarian, Maillette, French, Wild Lavender, Fine Population and our gorgeous, sweet Lavender Kashmir.

This Lavender, grown at a high altitude in the Kashmir Valley particularly at the foothills of the Himalayas is considered to produce a superior essential oil with high therapeutic properties and a more complex, sweeter more herbaceous aroma than other species.

Blends well with:

Essential oils of Bergamot, Black Pepper, Cedarwood, Chamomile Roman, Chamomile German, Cinnamon Bark Clary Sage, Clove Bud, Eucalyptus, Frankincense, Geranium, Ginger, Grapefruit, Jatamansi, Juniper Berry, Lemon, Lemongrass, Mandarin, Marjoram, Melissa, Myrrh, Neroli, Palmarosa, Patchouli, Pine, Peppermint, Scotch Pine, Rosemary, Ruh Khus, Sandalwood, Ylang Ylang

Note: Product colors and aroma profiles are intended to represent the typical and approximate color and scent oflia each oil. However, both can vary based on harvesting, distillation and other factors. These variations should not affect the efficacy of the product.

You can also create a blend with one or more EOs of Palo Santo, Rose Geranium, Cedarwood, Balsam Gurjun or Ginger Lilly to incorporate other benefits you may require, make a stronger blend or just to layer different scent notes and create a rounder or preferred aroma.

Topical: To use topically for its healing benefits, add 2-5 drops of Lavender Kashmir Essential Oil to a tablespoon/15ml of base oil or shea butter and apply 2-3 times daily or as needed to the affected area.

Add 10 drops to 50ml of a light easy absorbent oil for a relaxing, soothing massage.

For an even stronger blend add one or more EOs e.g. Oregano, Dill Seed,  Patchouli (Dark), Winter Cherry or Thyme (Red) without exceeding the 5 drops of EO for topical use or 10 drops per 50ml maximums for a massage oil
